Background

An Infographic for the Climbing Wall Association, a company serving climbing gyms, operators, manufacturers, consultants and others involved in the climbing industry. The CWA provides services to over 400 companies in the industry.

The aim of this infographic was to show the benefit of adding a retail component into existing climbing walls, an unusual business model in the US at this point. 

Concept

The visual communication piece would be used both in print and online, to be sent out to companies in the industry after attending a conference about the subject.

Although the target audience is of a professional nature, I decided to make the graphic quite lighthearted. Using simple but playful illustrations, diagrammatic icons and muted colours.
