Pre line visualisation

Background

SCARPA is a family owned Italian company specialising in high end hand made mountain boots.

Concept

Worked on the redesign of various climbing shoes. Focussing on the colour combinations and providing pre line visualisations to create new cosmetics.

Also collaborated to design a new logo for the companies branded rubber.



 


INSTINCT LACE UP PRE LINE VISUALISATION

I worked with SCARPA on their existing lace up shoe to provide pre line visuals to update the aesthetics and bring it in line with their current collection. The final product, the 'instinct lace up', was featured in GQ magazine in their Fall 2016 edition, with SCARPA athlete Sam Elias.




The Scarpa Instinct lace up was a refresh of the aethetics from the older 'Parrot' model. It was also featured on the cover of Gripped Climbing Magazine 2017



 


ORIGIN PRE LINE VISUALISATION

I also worked on the 'Origin', a project that involved sketching preliminary ideas for colours, and providing pre line visualisations from all angles before production. The 'Origin' is currently SCARPA's best selling shoe in North America
